Sunlight Outpost

EXCITING NEWS at Lac Seul Wilderness Resort. We have recently acquired SUNLIGHT OUTPOST from Lac Seul Lodge. This outpost cabin is located at the south end of Sunlight Lake accessible from Lac Seul near Manitoba Point. We hope to provide past and future guests with the same quality remote fishing experience that the previous owners have built their reputation on. This cabin although remote is not short on creature comforts. Solar powered lights and water system, propane appliances and a gas generator combine to give you a comfortable vacation experience. World class walleye and northern pike fishing literally at your doorstep and a short boat ride to the main basin of Lac Seul. Check in by noon Saturday check out by 10 am following Saturday

Our rates are very simple: $720/person in US funds plus tax (13%) includes unlimited minnows. If you need a boat rental we have large comfortable fully equipped boats with top of the line electronics to get you around safely. At $800/week/boat plus fuel you will be hard pressed to find a better set up for big water. We ask for a $200/person deposit to hold your reservation.

What to bring:

Sleeping bags, toilet paper, paper towel, heavy duty garbage bags, kitchen and bath towels, wash and dish cloths, dish and hand soap, bug repellent, sun screen, flashlights, first aid kit, and personal items (CPAP machines, prescriptions, shampoo, toothbrush etc)

Boat rentals include all Ontario Navigational required safety equipment including life jackets. Also included are landing nets, 13 quart Engel coolers with aerators for minnows, Helix 7 gps/sonar graph at the helm, Garmin graph at front. Spot lock trolling motors will hold you where you want when you want.

An escort boat will lead you to the cabin if requested ($150) and a mid week check in with needed supplies can also be arranged (minnows, fuel, etc)
